About the Ring of Truth©
The Ring of Truth©
is an iconographic image
of the unity of each individual
with all of life,
and of the common aspiration
of the many spiritual faiths
and traditions of enlightenment
towards higher awareness
of this unity.
The icon is comprised
of three elements;
two circles with a common center,
and a heart,
originating in the center
of both circles
and expanding outwards
to unite them.
The inner circle represents
our individual being.
This is our common sense
of who we are,
always experienced
as the center of the universe,
separate and distinct from all others,
with our unique body, personality, history, attributes,
circumstances, situations, relationships,
birth and death.
The surrounding circle
represents the unity of all creation.
This is described in ancient scripture,
and also understood by contemporary scientific theory,
as omnipresent, creative, benevolent consciousness,
which is the mystical source of our being
as realized and revealed
by the prophets of many faiths.
The heart
represents the spiritual journey
towards understanding
of the greater truth.
This is the evolution from
the experience of ourselves
as separate and isolated beings
in an indifferent universe,
to a higher awareness
of the omnipresence
of consciousness and grace,
and the interrelatedness,
mutuality and equality
of all beings and phenomena.
The way to transcendant awareness
of our greater nature
is through love,
which is the expansion
of our sense of Self
to embrace one another.
Thus we experience unity with all beings
and our common creative source
and awareness of our fundamental equality
as expressions of that which may be known
as the divine.
This is the essence of the way
of all great faiths.
In all traditions of enlightenment,
the journey of spiritual unfoldment
carries us beyond our former limited identity
into expanding dimensions of loving communion
with others and the world
and features diminishing of ignorance,
fear, arrogance, anger and isolation
and growth of insight, compassion, humility, forgiveness,
and motivation for service, healing, caring for the Earth and all of life,
and sharing of the abundance of creation
to meet the needs of all.
There are many icons of higher truth.
Some feature balance as the inspiring principle,
others faith, others worship, and others
identification with a community of believers.
The Ring of Truth©
features the presence of
an image of love,
as this is central
to the spiritual journey
for all.
This icon serves our need,
at the advent of the new millennium,
for a nondenominational image
of the harmony of spiritual growth,
realization of equality through transpersonal unity,
and service to all, to inspire our faith
in the truth of our oneness,
to heal ourselves and our world.
We Are One.
Trust In Love.
Realize Unity.
Serve All.
